Review

eMail Bounce Handler is an efficient utility to clean up your email account from bounced email messages that are returned to your email inbox upon failure delivery. The program can also be used by people who regularly send newsletters in order to clean up their email lists, as, the bigger the amount of wrong email addresses they have, the sooner they will get blacklisted. The program can connect to your POP3, APOP, IMAP email account using your login details even if the email provider requires SSL/TLS encryption. Once connected to your email account, the program will download your e-mail messages and check them against the bounce identification rules that can be easily customized by the end user.

The program can be configured to show only the soft or hard bounces, addresses that were bounced X times, or none or all of bounced addresses. The bounced list shows the bounce's reason, count and date.

The program has the ability to retrieve the bounced email addresses from any external text file or directly from Windows clipboard. Certain email addresses can be automatically excluded from the bounced list.

The trial version of this program is limited to checking the first hundred bounced email addresses.
Advantages
  • Supports checking POP3 email acounts.
  • Supports checking external inbox files and clipboard.
Disadvantages
